On 26th, 27th and 28th of September in Milan, Palazzo di Lombardia a Conference World Women Beijing 20 had taken place. The Organizer – Isa Maggi explains that the puropose of the World Women Congress is to discuss and compare ideas. Besides highlighting and comparing relevant data in the social, cultural and economic domain on European, national, regional and local level. A delegation of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – Selena attended the event represented by Slavyanka Stoykova, Gabriela Apostolova, Aneliya Serafimova and Katerina Stankova.
The representatives of AWEB-Selena took part and supported the interactive workshop “Train the female leadership” designed and managed by Selena Italy APS to learn practical and innovative strategies for daily use. Two hours of interactive training lead to sharing experiences in an international context, reflection on the features of female leadership, activation of a process of deep awareness on female characteristics as the possibility of corporate leadership and focus on current actual everyday practices that can explain and lead women and men to better understanding of their strong and weak qualities and capacities.
On 15th and 16th of September in St Aidan's College and Durham Castle, Durham City, UK a 5 decades of enterprise have been celebrated with the Durham Symposium on Small Business and Enterprise Development. The Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – Selena was represented by Mrs. Slavyanka Stoykova and Mrs. Aneliya Serafimova. Mrs. Stoykova participated with a contribution speaking about the features of female entrepreneurship issues in Bulgaria. A valuable information and experience had been gathered and contacts shared. The Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – Selena disseminate CDs with presentation of the association, past and current projects and profiles of the members of the association.
